Fans of the Cleveland Browns haven’t had much to cheer for or be happy about over the past couple of seasons as they have a 1-35-1 record over their last 37 games.Perhaps Vegas can change that.

Currently a three-point favorite at Nevada sportbooks (And a 3.8 favorite according to ESPN’s FPI.) for Thursday night’s game against the New York Jets, the Browns are currently slated to be a home favorite for the first time since week 15 of the 2015 season. The Browns won that game 24-10 over the San Francisco 49ers with Johnny Manziel under center. Ever since then, they have played 18 straight home games while being an underdog, a streak that is the third-longest in the last 15 seasons.

Only once in that time span have the Browns even been favored at all: a week 3 road game against the Indianapolis Colts in 2017. The Browns were a 1.5 point favorite in that game, but they ended up losing to Jacoby Brissett and the Colts 31-28.

Cleveland is currently one of eight teams that is 2-0 against the spread this season.

Will the Dawg Pound finally have something to cheer about?
